  13. For Streamyx Zone access, customer can enjoy up to 384Kbps of internet access.

  15. Customer enjoy a single sign-on for both Streamyx and Streamyx Zone internet access.
  16. For new customers, login & password for Streamyx Zone will be appear in Confirmation slip.

Dear Valued Partners,

There have been some uncertainties brought up concerning Streamyx Combo package. Here are the frequently asked questions. Please take note:

  1. If customers opt for Streamyx Combo with Voice Plan, when they can enjoy it?

    Voice Plan will be activated on the next bill date of DEL & NOT when the Streamyx Combo is active, i.e., effective on the next bill date of DEL after activation of Streamyx Combo.


  2. If customer register Streamyx Combo using their 2nd homeline, which is offered by TM (monthly rental either RM1 or RM 10 or FOC), are they entitle to get FREE MONTHLY RENTAL on their main homeline or the 2nd homeline?

    The 2nd homeline will be entitled for free rental since it is registered under Streamyx Combo.


  3. If streamyx applicant is not the telephone owner - TM will issue 2 TM bills (one for normal TM telephone bill under telephone owner's name and one for Streamyx Combo under streamyx applicant), will line rental waive in the telephone owner's bill?

    As per standard practice, for non telephone owner case, TM will issue 2 bills (one under telephone owner & one under streamyx applicant). So for Streamyx Combo, rental waive will be enjoyed by telephone owner and Streamyx Combo charges (RM60/90/110/140/160) will be in streamyx applicant's bill. We did mention in P&P that Streamyx Combo applicable for non telephone owner.

IMPORTANT REMINDER


  1. Streamyx Combo shall be applicable for residential application only.


  2. Streamyx Combo packages shall be for unlimited usage, with modem, and shall be without monthly rental for TM Homeline.


  3. Monthly rental for TM Homeline shall be excluded from the next bill date of customer's TM Homeline within thirty (30) days after service activation of Streamyx.


  4. Streamyx Combo packages are only applicable to successful Streamyx installation and activation. Thus, TM Homeline subscription before the said event is treated separately and subject to TM Homeline Terms & Conditions.


  5. TM Homeline application shall be separated from this Application Form and shall be subject to its own Terms & Conditions.


  6. Add On for Voice Plan or Value Added Services or Content & Application is on top of any combo package.


  7. For Voice Plan RM28:
    • subject to 5% Service Tax
    • customer can start enjoying Voice Plan on the next TM Homeline bill date after Streamyx service is activated. The voice charges before such notification(s) will be treated as normal charges.
    • the existing voice / call plan will be terminated on the next bill date after Streamyx service is activated.


  8. Value Added Service(s) activation shall be twenty four (24) hours after Streamyx service activation.


  9. Customer shall be notified via Streamyx e-mail for Fun Package access details after Streamyx service is activated.


  10. Minimum subscription period for Streamyx Combo is 12 months.


  11. Streamyx service shall be subject to availability and technical testing and speed of service shall be on best effort basis.


  12. Customer is NOT ALLOWED to change the telephone number (connecting to Streamyx) before installation of service.


  13. Customer is responsible for internal wiring, NIC card and networking.


  14. For Streamyx In-A-Box:
    • Auto account activation shall be seven (7) days from the date of registration for self collection and ten (10) days for courier delivery.
    • RM88 installation fee shall be applicable only if installation assistance is required.
    • For account activation, SMS to STXACTV Login ID and send to 33535 three (3) days after registration. Each reply message from TM will be charged RM0.30 to customer's mobile phone postpaid account or deducted from their prepaid balance. Telco SMS charges for each message sent shall be charged separately.
    • The mobile number used must match the mobile number written in the registration form. Customer may use another mobile number if a personal one is not available.
    • Streamyx In-A-Box courier service charges are RM14 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM25 for Sabah/Sarawak.


  15. For Streamyx Combo 2.0Mbps and 4.0Mbps package:
    • Service available in selected areas only. List of the areas is available at www.streamyx.com
    • Service shall be subject to availability and technical testing during installation.


  16. All Internet charges will be included in 'Bil Telefon & Multimedia'


  17. 1st bill received may include the following fees under the Internet Charges upon Streamyx activation:
    • RM75 for activation.
    • RM88 for installation (if applicable).
    • First & second months advanced subscription fee.
    • RM10 for stamp duty fee


  18. For account activated on every 29th, 30th or 31st, the current charges for the month will be prorated.


  19. If customer terminates Streamyx Combo before the end of the minimum subscription period, the customer must pay subscription fees of the remaining months and return the modem. Pre-mature termination includes relocation of premise.


  20. Streamyx Combo bill must be paid before the due date to avoid any service suspension. During suspension period, TM will continue to charge for the monthly subscription fee. RM10 reconnection fee will be charged upon service reactivation.


  21. Kindly contact TM at 100 for any request to change your installation appointment date.


  22. Customer shall be entitled to a maximum of two (2) changes to the installation appointment date and TM shall have the right to cancel your application if there is any request for a deferment that exceeds a period of two (2) months from the Registration Date.


  23. Both Streamyx and TM Homeline Terms & Conditions are applied.

Dear Vallue Partners, 

Continuing from Ms Donna's email, again SCM would like to stress the following Terms & Conditions for Streamyx Combo packages for your reference. Please take note especially on item no. 7 as lately there have been many complaints by customers that they are not being informed of the Voice Plan activation date. To be on the safe side, please inform your customers taking Voice Plan RM 28 that they can only start enjoying the Voice Plan RM 28 after they received the 1st bill with streamyx charges. At the mean time, all call charges are treated as Normal Charge.

7) For Voice Plan RM28:

  • subject to 5% Service Tax
  • customer can start enjoying Voice Plan on the next TM Homeline bill date after Streamyx service is activated. The voice charges before such notification(s) will be treated as normal charges.
  • the existing voice / call plan will be terminated on the next bill date after Streamyx service is activated.

Student Package with Streamyx Combo

Dear Vallue Partners, 

We have good news to all. After patiently waiting for almost 3 months, at last our top management have approved our Student Package which formerly known as Pakej Warga Asing. Therefore, with immediate effect you all can promote our Student Package and all registration is done via MIPs.

Please read carefully the followings in order to avoid issuance of show cause letter. And kindly share this good news with all your agents.

Simple Formula for Student Package       =          Homeline + Streamyx Combo + iTalk

Target customers:

  1. Residential / Homeline customers age 18 years old and above with official and valid documents on furthering study at any local universities, institutions and colleges and are currently pursuing studies in Malaysia.
  2. For this package, the customer are only eligible to apply One (1) Homeline with iTalk Hotline (1800 87 3535) and One (1) Streamyx at one time.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The Student package is offer for NEW application of Streamyx Combo & Homeline only. In this case Homeline will be iTalk Hotline
  2. The package only offered to locations which have Homeline infra facilities and Streamyx services (Speed of the Streamyx service is on "best effort" basis and is subject to availability and technical testing)
  3. Customer are only REQUIRED to pay monthly rental of Streamyx Combo, the Homeline is connected through iTalk server (1800 87 3535) through PSTN network.
  4. Effective date for this Package is on Customer's next telephone billing date. Effective date for Package termination is one (1) working day before the Customer's next telephone billing date.
  5. The nearby exchange have the facility of 'Hotline FFHZ – 1800 87 3535 (Hotline without time supervision)'.
  6. Official and valid documents which are REQUIRED for the Student Package are:
    6.1.1 Passport / ID
    6.1.2 Visa (for foreign students)
    6.1.3 Valid Students' ID
    6.1.4 Offer letter from local Universities, institutions and colleges
  7. Internal wiring cost shall be borne by the customer.
  8. Customer is advised to activate their iTalk card at minimum RM10 per month.
  9. Minimum subscription period is twelve (12) months ("Minimum Subscription Period").
  10. All Streamyx and TM Homeline terms and conditions apply.
  11. Student Package subscribers can only make calls via Homeline using iTalk cards via hotline IVR. No incoming calls can be accepted in this Student Package.
  12. Customers are required to fill in application form and signed agreement of Student package which consist of Homeline and Streamyx Combo. The customer to be charged with duty stamp of RM10.
  13. Order "Pesanan"  must in status "GANTUNG" until all payment have been made together with the required documents submitted to TMpoint.
  14. Minimum subscription period is twelve (12) months ("Minimum Subscription Period").
  15. Customer is responsible for any faulty or set missing which due to customer's fault.

Change of installation location

  1. Any relocation of Homeline to new installation location is allowed and customer are required to pay before the installation is done:
  2. TM service charge is RM 50.00   (Note: Internal wiring shall be borne by the customer)
  3. If the change of new installation location is beyond the existing exchange location, the current agreement of Student Package must be TERMINATE and the installation at new location shall be consider as new homeline installation.
  4. Payment for this service can be made at TMpoint or any existing payment channels.
  5. Bills will be produced and sent to customers' billing address according to existing billing cycle (BP).

  3. Termination of iTalk Hotline (Homeline) will effectively terminate the Streamyx Combo.
  4. All terms and conditions of Streamyx Combo and iTalk Hotline (Homeline) apply for this Student Package.

Dear Vallue Partners, 

Effective April 1, 2008, TM will be implementing the Rounding Mechanism for all TM bills in line with the Government's announcement on the Rounding Mechanism exercise (Jimat dan Senang Kira).

In the Rounding Mechanism exercise, the total amount of a bill, which ends in 1, 2, 6 and 7 sen will be rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 sen while the total amount of bill which ends in 3, 4, 8 and 9 sen will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 5 sen. The Rounding Mechanism only applies to the total amount of bill and not on individual items.

The Rounding Mechanism will apply to all TM types of bills covering all product and services, includes taxable items.

All TM bill presentation will have changes on the summary page effective from billing date 1 April 2008 onwards. The changes will show the amount before rounding, rounding amount and amount due, which includes the rounding amount.

To ensure full understanding and seamless execution of this exercise, briefing sessions to the states and related departments have been conducted in stages. TM outlets and payment channels, like TMpoints and Clickers Authorized Service Outlets (CASO) will display pamphlets and stickers given by Bank Negara Malaysia to inform and educate the customers on the rounding mechanism. Customers will be informed on this implementation through Bill Message to ensure they are well-informed on the application of the rounding mechanism to their products and services subscription.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Subscription period for the package is 12 months (1 year).
  2. If customers terminate the package within the 12 months contract period, they will be charged package fee X remaining month in the contract.
  3. For new Business Broadband, an installation fee of RM 88 and an activation fee of RM 75 are applicable and to be charged in the customer’s first bill. However, during the first 6 months promotion period (8 January 2008 – 30 June 2008), the activation fee of RM 75 will be waived.
  4. Package effective date will be on customer’s telephone bill next bill period. Customer’s first bill will be sent 1 month after the package effective date.
  5. Package termination date will be customer’s telephone bill minus 1 day.
  6. Free first RM 50 STD calls (Band A, B, C, D, L, M, N) are at standard rate.
  7. Chargeable call rates are 14 sen/minute to fixed numbers (Band A, B, C, D) and 17 sen/minute to mobile numbers (Band L, M, N).
  8. Local calls, IDD calls, and other calls other than Band A, B, C, D, L, M, N are as per standard rate.
  9. Free E-Storage capacity is 1 Gigabyte.
  10. Customers are only eligible for only one STD Call Plan. If customer subscribes to SME Special, current STD Call Plan will be automatically converted to SME Special. However, co-existence with any IDD Call Plan is allowed.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Dear Valued Partners,

It is a MUST for all Foreign Homeline customers applying for Normal Homeline package within MSC Business Area (exchange areas covered – Bukit Jalil, Puchong, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Serdang, Kinrara, USJ, Salak Tinggi, Dengkil, KLIA) to pay deposit of RM1075.00 and RM50.00 before the installation.

In other words, NO Zero Payment Entry for foreigner applying TM Homeline within MSC Business Area. Therefore, all foreigner Homeline orders processed via MIPs SHOULD and WILL BE GANTUNG pending for payment (Deposit and Installation).

Kindly advise the foreign Homeline customer to make the payment specifically the

(a)    Deposit RM1075.00

(b)   Installation Fee RM50.00

at any TMpoint (as we all aware partners are not allowed to collect any money from the customer) before the order CAN BE RELEASED for installation. However, the Stamp Duty RM10 WILL BE BILLED into the customer's 1st bill.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Valued Partners,

Kindly be informed that starting 25th July 2007, Silver Partners are required to key in customer both GENUINE OLD & NEW IC Numbers in MIPS - DEL Provisioning System. This is only applicable for applicant who was born in year 1976 & below. This info is needed for processor to validate whether customer has an outstanding amount / blacklisted in TM for both IC Numbers.

Application from customer (born in year 1977 onwards - New IC No start with 77XXXX-XX-XXXX) the OLD IC number will not be required. Silver Partner must communicate to their customer during the sales activities. "
